Hello friends! Interested in making your own tall centerpiece? Read on for some tips to make your own dazzling arrangement!

The first step is choosing your vase. Here Heather has 2 different vases.

The vase with the flared top can be taped to help support the greenery and flowers. Using Oasis waterproof tape, create a waffle grid on the top. Once the waffle is done and your water is added, create your design with greenery and flowers.

For this project, Heather will use the narrow neck vase. She adds silver dollar eucalyptus in a spiral fashion to create a base.

Next she begins to add the flowers, beginning with the hydrangea and then the lilies.

Holding the flower stems like a pencil is the best way to gently work the flowers into the arrangement without breaking the stems. Heather continues to add the carnations and chrysanthemums at various heights.

The finishing touch is to add several stems of long baby blue eucalyptus. You can also add pussywillow or curly willow to add more height and an organic accent.

Great job!! Aren’t you proud of yourself?? Make sure you take a picture. The best place to take a photo is in a well lit place out of direct sunlight.
